Indra's blog: About This Year's Table Plan and What it Showed Me.

As many of you will know, we have our very own Practice Plan. Besides giving tremendous value to our patients and providing lots of extra advantages, it is an easy way to make sure you get your regular dental visits with the hygienist and dentist booked in.
What most of you don't know, is that it also comes with a yearly training day for the team. In a hotel venue we come together with other regional dental practices and get to listen to an amazing speaker. Over the years we have heard all sorts, sometimes purely dental and other times focused on different parts of life that are equally important for a good work-life balance.
This year it brought something unexpected though. As I walked into the venue and got greeted by one of the lovely ladies, I was shown the seating arrangements for this year. My heart skipped a little beat. My mind went in overdrive. Really? That could not be right. But yes, for the first time in all the years that we had been part of the plan we were given double tables. Does it truly matter in the grand scheme of things? Nope, not really, but for me it was something to smile about.

We have been very proud celebrating our 15 Year Anniversary of the practice this year. It has been a whirlwind, but an amazing achievement to create with an fantastic award winning team.
The first year we went to these events, it was just the three of us: Tamsin, Laura and me. We were seated on a table together with two or three other practices; usually between 10-12 people on a large round table. And the coming years, that was what it was. Slowly, but steadily the team started to grow and as we grew there were less other practices on our table. Over the years we managed to fill and overfill a full table of our own. And now, we got two Berwick Smile Dental Care tables. So the significance in the Table Plan was that it showed me again how far we have come. Smiling and Proud I entered the room and joined my team on our TWO tables.
The rest of the day was an absolute blast. We laughed and laughed with Dave Keeling from Laughology. Sometimes there was a serious note to it, but always brought in a good way. And as the year 2025 ends and the new year 2026 opens its doors, I will leave you with one of Dave's slides. How do you ensure you're at your best?
We will do our very very best to shine again for you so we make the next 15 years/ chapters in our book as remarkable as the first 15 have been!

Wishing you a wonderful time with your loved ones. Lots of laughter, joy and happiness. But don't forgot to take this time to refresh, relax and rest! It is often underrated.
Smiling Proudly
Indra x
